Cancellation Policy

1. Order Cancellation Window
Customers may request cancellation for IoT Kit orders directly from their Orders Dashboard (`/orders`) as long as the order status is in PENDING_PAYMENT, PAID, PROCESSING, or PACKED prior to courier dispatch.
2. 50% Refund Rule for IoT Kits
Upon submitting a cancellation request for an eligible IoT kit order, the backend system automatically computes a 50% refund of the total paid amount. The remaining 50% covers non-recoverable testing, component bench time, and packing expenses.
3. Custom Engineering Projects Cancellation
For custom projects, once the initial 60% advance deposit is paid and hardware development commences, the project cannot be cancelled with a refund of the advance deposit.
